Premier League (Week 7) : West Ham defeats QPR 2-0
ENGLAND, Oct. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 7: After losing 2-1 to Manchester United on September 27, the Hammers returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over QPR this Sunday.
West Ham dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by defender Nedum Onuoha in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sakho in the 59th minute.
West Ham United climbed to 7th place with 10 points from 7 games, only one point behind Tottenham Hotspur.
