ENGLAND, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 9: After three straigth victories against Hull, Aston Villa and Tottenham, the Citizens lost 2-1 against West Ham.

West Ham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sakho in the 75th minute.

Manchester City FC remains in second place with 17 points from 9 games, 5 points behind Chelsea, which has a game in hand.
