ENGLAND, Dec. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 19: After three straigth defeats, the Magpies bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Everton this Sunday.

Everton forward Arouna Koné opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Newcastle catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Cisse. 1-1 at half time. The Magpies eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Pérez ('51) and Colback ('68).

Newcastle United climbed to 9th place with 26 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Swansea City, which has a game in hand.
