ENGLAND, Jan. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 20: The match between Liverpool and Leicester ended in a 2-2 draw on Thursday.
Liverpool players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard ('17/penalty and '40/penalty. However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Leicester with goals by David Nugent ('58) and Jeffrey Schlupp ('60).
Liverpool remains in 8th place with 29 points from 20 games, 2 points behind Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
