Premier League (Week 20) : Southampton defeats Arsenal 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 20: After their 1-1 draw against Chelsea on December 28, the Saints bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal this Thursday.
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Senegalese midfielder Mane in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tadic in the 56th minute.
Southampton remains in fourth place with 36 points from 20 games, one point behind Manchester United FC.
