Premier League (Week 28) : Liverpool beats Burnley 2-0
ENGLAND, Mar. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 28: Four wins in a row for Liverpool. After their success against Tottenham, Southampton and Manchester City, the Reds continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Burnley this Wednesday.
Liverpool dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Jordan Henderson in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sturridge in the 51st minute.
Liverpool remains in fifth place with 51 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Manchester United FC.
