Premier League (Week 35) : Liverpool beats QPR 2-1
ENGLAND, May. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 35: After losing 1-0 to Hull on April 28, the Reds bounced back with a 2-1 victory over QPR this Saturday.
Liverpool dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gerrard with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Liverpool remains in fifth place with 61 points from 35 games, 4 points behind Manchester United FC, which has a game in hand.
