Premier League (Week 29) : Chelsea beats Stoke City 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for Chelsea. After their success against Swansea and West Ham, the Blues continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.
Chelsea midfielder Willian Da Silva opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Stoke City catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Walters Jonathan penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Blues eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Cahill with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Chelsea remains in first place with 69 points from 28 games, a 13-point lead over runner-up Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
