ENGLAND, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 7: After losing 2-1 to Newcastle on September 23 and 0-4 to Chelsea on September 23, Stoke City bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Stoke City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Senegalese forward Mame Biram Diouf in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stoke City players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Crouch with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Southampton are down in 12nd place with 8 points from 7 games, one point behind Huddersfield Town AFC.
