ENGLAND, Oct. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: 6 wins in a row for Manchester City. After their success against Bournemouth, Liverpool, Watford, Crystal Palace and Chelsea, the Citizens continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 7-2 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.
Jesus Gabriel scored dual goals
Manchester City dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jesus Gabriel ('17), Sterling ('19) and Silva ('27). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Citizens further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Jesus Gabriel '55, Fernandinho Rosa '60, Sané '62 and Silva '79).
Manchester City FC remains in first place with 22 points from 8 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Manchester United FC.
