PORTUGAL, Sep. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 5: Vitoria Guimaraes was held to a 1-1 draw by Paços de Ferreira on Friday.
Paços de Ferreira players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Paços de Ferreira forward Bruno Moreira in the 3rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Vitoria Guimaraes with a saving goal from Uruguayan forward Alvez in the 65th minute.
Vitoria SC climbed to first place with 11 points from 5 games, one point ahead of runner-up Rio Ave FC, which has a game in hand.
