PORTUGAL, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Paços de Ferreira. After their success against Belenenses and Maritimo, the Beavers continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Boavista this Saturday.
Paços de Ferreira dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Paraíba in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beavers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moreira in the 72nd minute.
FC Paços de Ferreira climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 8 games, only one point behind FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
