PORTUGAL, Oct. 27, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Nacional on October 5, Rio Grande bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Penafiel this Monday.
Rio Ave dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ukra ('15) and Lopes ('32). Leading 2-1 at the break, Rio Grande further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hassan in the 67th minute.
Rio Ave FC climbed to fifth place with 14 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
