PORTUGAL, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: After losing 1-2 to Belenenses on October 26, the Canaries bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Penafiel this Saturday.
Estoril dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Rafael in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Canaries further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Toze in the 68th minute.
GD Estoril Praia climbed to 11st place with 9 points from 9 games, only one point behind Moreirense FC, which has a game in hand.
