Primeira Liga (Week 9) : Porto defeats Nacional 2-0
PORTUGAL, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: Three wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Braga and Arouca, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Nacional this Saturday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian defender Danilo in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Brahimi in the 74th minute.
FC Porto remains in second place with 21 points from 9 games, one point behind SL Benfica.
