Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Cicero ('88) and Ferreira ('90 own).
FC Paços de Ferreira climbed to 7th place with 29 points from 20 games, only one point behind CF Os Belenenses.
