Primeira Liga (Week 20) : Gil Vicente beats Maritimo 2-1
PORTUGAL, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 20: After their 2-2 draw against Vitoria Guimaraes on February 1 and 1-1 draw against Vitoria Setubal on February 1, the Gilists bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Maritimo this Sunday.
Maritimo forward Ebinho opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Gil Vicente catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Vilela penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Gilists eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Simy in the 65th minute.
CS Maritimo are down in 11st place with 24 points from 20 games, one point behind GD Estoril Praia, which has a game in hand.
