Primeira Liga (Week 19) : Académica and Maritimo play out 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: The match between Académica Coimbra and Maritimo ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Maritimo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Maritimo forward Edgar Costa in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Académica Coimbra with a saving goal from Brazilian defender Aderlan in the 54th minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to 10th place with 24 points from 19 games, only one point behind GD Estoril Praia.
