Primeira Liga (Week 19) : Penafiel and Guimaraes play to a 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: Vitoria Guimaraes was held to a 1-1 draw by Penafiel on Saturday.
Penafiel players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Penafiel midfielder João Martins in the 18th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Vitoria Guimaraes with a saving goal from Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder André André on penalty in the 73rd minute.
Vitoria SC remains in fourth place with 36 points from 19 games, 3 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
