PORTUGAL, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: After losing 1-0 to Paços de Ferreira on January 26, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Boavista this Saturday.
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lima ('23) and Pereira ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jonas on penalty in the 55th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 49 points from 19 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
