Primeira Liga (Week 19) : Rio Ave beats Estoril 2-1
PORTUGAL, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: After losing 4-2 to Sporting Lisbon on January 25 and 4-1 to Vitoria Setubal on January 25, Rio Grande returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Estoril this Sunday.
Rio Ave dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Venezuelan forward Del Valle in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rio Grande further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wakaso in stoppage time.
Rio Ave FC climbed to 6th place with 27 points from 19 games, 7 points behind SG Braga.
