PORTUGAL, Mar. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 26: After losing 1-3 to Benfica on March 15 and 1-0 to Porto on March 15, Arouca bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Gil Vicente this Sunday.
Arouca dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Iuri Medeiros in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Arouca players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kayembe '47 and Roberto '57).
Arouquenses climbed to 15th place with 23 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Académica Coimbra.
