Primeira Liga (Week 27) : Paços de Ferreira and Sporting play out 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Apr. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 27: Sporting Lisbon was held to a 1-1 draw by Paços de Ferreira on Saturday.
Sporting Lisbon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Algerian forward Islam Slimani in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Paços de Ferreira with a saving goal from Brazilian defender Rodrigo Galo in the 75th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in third place with 57 points from 27 games, 5 points behind FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
