Primeira Liga (Week 29) : Arouca beats Penafiel 2-0
PORTUGAL, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 29: After losing 1-0 to Vitoria Guimaraes on April 10 and 0-1 to Belenenses on April 10, Arouca bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Penafiel this Sunday.
Arouca dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Basto in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Arouca players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ribeiro with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Arouquenses climbed to 15th place with 26 points from 29 games, only one point behind Académica Coimbra.
