Primeira Liga (Week 29) : Sporting beats Boavista 2-1

PORTUGAL, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 29: Two wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their 1-2 win against Vitoria Setubal on April 12, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Boavista this Sunday.

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Silva opened the score in the 1st minute, before seeing Boavista catch up in the 7th minute thanks to Zé Manuel. 1-1 at half time. The Sportinguistas eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Slimani in the 66th minute.

Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in third place with 63 points from 29 games, 8 points behind FC Porto.
