PORTUGAL, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 30: After their 0-0 draw against Rio Ave on April 19, the Gilists returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Académica Coimbra this Saturday.
Académica Coimbra midfielder Rui Pedro opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Gil Vicente catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Rúben Ribeiro penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Gilists eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Cadu on penalty in the 67th minute.
Académica Coimbra remains in 14th place with 27 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Boavista FC, which has a game in hand.
