Primeira Liga (Week 30) : Rio Ave hold Guimaraes to 1-1
PORTUGAL, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 30: Vitoria Guimaraes was held to a 1-1 draw by Rio Ave on Saturday.
Vitoria Guimaraes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Uruguayan forward Alvez on penalty in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rio Ave with a saving goal from Belarusian midfielder Bressan in the 82nd minute.
Vitoria SC remains in fifth place with 47 points from 30 games, 7 points behind SG Braga.
