PORTUGAL, May. 2, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 31: After their 0-0 draw against Porto on April 26, the Eagles returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Gil Vicente this Saturday.
Pereira scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pereira ('15) and Jonas ('22). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Luisao '46, Lima '59 and Pereira '69).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 78 points from 31 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
