Primeira Liga (Week 12) : Porto defeats Paços de Ferreira 2-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: Four wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Vitoria Setubal, Tondela and União da Madeira, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Saturday.
Paços de Ferreira forward Bruno Moreira opened the score in the 8th minute, before seeing Porto catch up in the 29th minute thanks to Corona Jesus. 1-1 at half time. The Dragons eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Layún on penalty in the 64th minute.
FC Porto climbed to first place with 30 points from 12 games, one point ahead of runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
