PORTUGAL, Dec. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: Four wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Tondela, Boavista and Braga, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Académica Coimbra this Friday.
Jonas Congalves scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Jonas Congalves in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jonas Congalves '69/penalty and Sanches Renato '85).
SL Benfica remains in third place with 24 points from 11 games, 3 points behind FC Porto.
