Primeira Liga (Week 32) : Estoril defeats Maritimo 2-1
PORTUGAL, May. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 32: After their 1-1 draw against Vitoria Guimaraes on April 24, the Canaries returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Maritimo this Sunday.
Maritimo had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by French midfielder Damien Plessis. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Canaries nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bonatini '55 on penalty and Mendy Frederic '57).
GD Estoril Praia remains in 8th place with 46 points from 32 games, one point behind Rio Ave FC.
