PORTUGAL, Apr. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 32: 10 wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Paços de Ferreira, União da Madeira, Sporting Lisbon, Tondela, Boavista, Braga, Académica Coimbra, Vitoria Setubal and Rio Ave, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Friday.
Vitoria Guimaraes made Benfica doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian defender Jardel Nivaldo Vieira in the 47th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 82 points from 32 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
