PORTUGAL, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 32: 7 wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their success against Estoril, Arouca, Belenenses, Maritimo, Moreirense and União da Madeira, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Porto this Saturday.
Islam Slimani scored dual goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Slimani ('23, '44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cesar Bruno with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in second place with 80 points from 32 games, 2 points behind SL Benfica.
