Primeira Liga (Week 33) : Porto defeats Rio Ave 3-1

PORTUGAL, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 33: After losing 1-3 to Sporting Lisbon on April 30, the Dragons returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Rio Ave this Saturday.

Rio Ave forward Hélder Postiga opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Porto catch up in the 20th minute thanks to Miguel Layún penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Dragons eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Oliveira Sergio ('57) and Varela Silvestre ('88).

FC Porto remains in third place with 70 points from 33 games, 10 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
