Primeira Liga : Rio Ave finish 6th after beating União da Madeira
PORTUGAL, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 34: After losing 1-3 to Porto on May 7, Rio Grande returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over União da Madeira this Saturday.
União da Madeira had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Amilton Minervino. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Rio Grande nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bressan Renan '58 and Postiga '66).
