Primeira Liga : Tondela finish 15th after beating Académica Coimbra
PORTUGAL, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for Tondela. After their 1-4 win against Paços de Ferreira on May 6, the Auriverdes continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Académica Coimbra this Saturday.
Tondela dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pica Joao in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Auriverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alberto Luis in the 53rd minute.
