Primeira Liga (Week 17) : Porto defeats Boavista 5-0
PORTUGAL, Jan. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Rio Ave on January 6, the Dragons bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Boavista this Sunday.
Vincent Aboubakar scored dual goals
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mexican midfielder Héctor Herrera in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Corona Jesus '62, Aboubakar '72, '81 and Pereira Danilo '90).
FC Porto climbed to second place with 40 points from 17 games, 4 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
