After their success against Estoril, Arouca, Belenenses, Maritimo and Moreirense, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over União da Madeira this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Gutierrez Teofilo ('7) and Mario Joao ('18).
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to first place with 77 points from 31 games, one point ahead of runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
