PORTUGAL, Apr. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 31: After their 0-0 draw against Boavista on April 16 and 0-0 draw against Rio Ave on April 16, Arouca bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Maritimo this Sunday.
Arouca dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jubal Rocha Mendes ('7) and Simao David ('12 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Arouca players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Arouquenses remains in fifth place with 49 points from 31 games, 5 points behind SG Braga.
