Primeira Liga (Week 14) : Arouca beats Maritimo 4-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 14: After losing 3-1 to Rio Ave on December 12, Arouca returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Maritimo this Saturday.
Arouca dominated the first half thanks to goals from Valente Nuno ('2) and Rodrigues Ivo ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Arouca players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Velazquez Jose '76 and Maurides Roque '90).
Arouquenses climbed to 7th place with 19 points from 14 games, only one point behind FC Paços de Ferreira, which has a game in hand.
