Primeira Liga (Week 13) : Maritimo defeats Guimaraes 4-3
PORTUGAL, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: After losing 3-1 to Nacional on December 5 and 0-1 to Sporting Lisbon on December 5, the Verde-Rubros bounced back with a 4-3 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Saturday.
Maritimo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Soares Alex ('16) and Marega ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Verde-Rubros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Costa '48 and Fransergio Barbosa '90).
CS Maritimo climbed to 8th place with 17 points from 13 games, only one point behind Vitoria FC, which has a game in hand.
