Primeira Liga (Week 13) : Sporting beats Moreirense 3-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: 7 wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their success against Vitoria Guimaraes, Benfica, Estoril, Arouca, Belenenses and Maritimo, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Martins Gelson ('29) and Aquilani ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Slimani in the 58th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in first place with 35 points from 13 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
