PORTUGAL, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Boavista and Nacional, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Arouca this Saturday.
Silva Andre scored dual goals
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Silva Andre in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Silva Andre '78 and Brahimi '90).
FC Porto climbed to first place with 19 points from 8 games, tie on points with runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
