PORTUGAL, Oct. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: The match between Maritimo and Boavista ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Maritimo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian forward Sousa Dyego on penalty in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Boavista with a saving goal from Boavista midfielder Carraça in the 51st minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to 8th place with 10 points from 8 games, tie on points with Rio Ave FC, which has a game in hand.
