PORTUGAL, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Maritimo. After their 2-0 win against Tondela on September 25, the Verde-Rubros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Vitoria Setubal this Sunday.
Vitoria Setubal made Maritimo doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Sousa Dyego in the 55th minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to 9th place with 9 points from 7 games, tie on points with CF Os Belenenses.
