Primeira Liga (Week 7) : Benfica beats Feirense 4-0
PORTUGAL, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: Five wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Nacional, Arouca, Braga and Chaves, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 4-0 victory over Feirense this Sunday.
Benfica dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by midfielder Luís Aurélio in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Salvio '61, Cervi Franco '70 and Grimaldo Alejandro '90).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 19 points from 7 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up FC Porto.
