Primeira Liga (Week 7) : Chaves beats Belenenses 3-1
PORTUGAL, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: After losing 0-2 to Benfica on September 24, the Flavienses returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Belenenses had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with a goal by Duarte Domingos. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Flavienses nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Braga Bruno '75 on penalty, Battaglia Rodrigo '83 and De Oliveira William '86).
GD Chaves climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, only one point behind SG Braga, which has a game in hand.
