PORTUGAL, Sep. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: After losing 2-0 to Maritimo on September 25, the Auriverdes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Friday.
Tondela dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Moreno Erik in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Auriverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Murillo Jhon seconds before the end of regulation.
FC Paços de Ferreira remains in 10th place with 8 points from 7 games, one point behind CD Feirense, which has a game in hand.
