PORTUGAL, Sep. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: After three straigth victories against Feirense, Maritimo and Sporting Lisbon, Rio Grande lost 2-1 against Paços de Ferreira.
Paços de Ferreira dominated the first half thanks to goals from Silva Mateus ('16) and Osei ('19). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Beavers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Rio Ave FC remains in fifth place with 10 points from 6 games, 3 points behind SG Braga.
