Primeira Liga (Week 6) : Porto beats Boavista 3-1
PORTUGAL, Sep. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: After their 0-0 draw against Tondela on September 18, the Dragons returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Boavista this Friday.
Silva Andre scored dual goals
Boavista opened the score in the score in the 5th minute thanks to Henrique Nuno, before Porto regained the advantage with Silva Andre ('19, '41 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Telles Alex with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Porto climbed to first place with 13 points from 6 games, one point ahead of runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
